2016 The most recent development at PWM is the intelligent communication technology TRACK. This flexible control facility allows data to be received and monitored in real time throughout the world via an intranet or the Internet. TRACK offers the option of controlling and checking each individual SMD LED, even fully automatically on request. This enables functional variations to be detected proactively and the response times for maintenance to be optimised.
2015 Development and market launch of the first full-colour digits. A combination of the basic colours red-green-blue (RGB) within an individual LED allows millions of colours to be mixed. This means that the combination of the company’s own CI colour and the individual digit design is not a problem.
2014 Development and market launch of the first outline digits. These 2-coloured digits stand out clearly from the single-colour digits which were previously standard on the market.
2009 PWM developed the first IP67-protected digits. PWM price signs are still wind and weather-resistant today and can be used in all climates.
2007 PWM was the first manufacturer to develop the first SMD digits and began the series production of price signs with white digits. This revolutionised the market for price signs.
